April 26, 11:45 AM Keynote: “How OPNFV Has Evolved to Support the Open Source Networking Ecosystem” -Heather Kirksey, Director of OPNFV

The Open Platform for Network Functions Virtualization (OPNFV) project facilitates the development and evolution of NFV components across various open source ecosystems. Through system level integration, deployment and testing, OPNFV creates a reference NFV platform to accelerate the transformation of enterprise and service provider networks. Coming off the project’s fourth major release, Danube, the project has matured and proven to be an enabler of developer collaboration and rapid iteration across NFV, SDN, and cloud ecosystems. Hear from OPNFV Director Heather Kirksey on how OPNFV has evolved to further support the open source networking ecosystem—including details on OPNFV’s sophisticated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure, DevOps methodologies, path towards a Compliance and Verification (CP) Program, as well as the value of hosting Plugfests and what to expect from this year’s OPNFV Summit.
